A crowd based matching service employs human users to predict the probability of a match between sets of items including humans. “Review users” are tasked with predicting match probability between sets of items. When an item is a person, the item is called the “available user”. Optionally, a particular user may be both an available user and a review user. Available users may be matched for the purposes of dating.
